Certification Description
Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate a candidate’s ability to develops cyberspace workforce plans, strategies and guidance to support cyberspace workforce manpower, personnel, training and education requirements and to address changes to cyberspace policy, doctrine, materiel, force structure, and education and training requirements. They will demonstrate understanding of the policy framework and the core policy elements.
The candidate will be able to implement and conduct cybersecurity and privacy training for an organization, entity, or system. The candidate will be able demonstrate their ability to implement training and awareness security and privacy controls for federal information systems and other organizations.
Requirements
Candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations as well as teaching or instruction, in any mix of offensive and defensive operations, in order to obtain the expert level credential. The associate level credential will be awarded to those who pass the exam, but do not have the required experience.
